DIRTY DOGS That Need Homes
These dogs are currently housed in boarding facilities or with temporary fosters.
They need the stability and companionship of a home.
NEWMAN
Newman is a charming adult Boxer/Husky/CattleDog mix ( maybe, who knows ????) with amazing mystical blue-eyes and a soft, dense fluffy multi-colored coat. He was dumped at the shelter by his owner who kept him as an "outdoor" dog for 9 years - then abandoned Newman (his New name we gave him for his new life) at the shelter when he got in the way of the younger dog they got.
Despite getting kicked to the curb because he wasn't young anymore, Newman is a mellow and charming fellow. He walks very nicely on a leash - loves stopping to greet everyone and visiting all the stores in town - and he's also a fantastic cafe companion. He's a bit chunky right now - probably because he was never let out of the backyard - and he waddles a bit because of his extra weight - but he's young at heart and enjoys cruising around. he seemed shocked - and totally happy - to discover what a dogbed felt like - and knows how to enjoy a good nap and a good night's sleep - though he is a bit of a snoring machine ....
Mostly Newman was dealt a lousy hand and we're hoping to find him a home where he can live out (INSIDE !!!!) his golden years in comfort, with lots of love and companionship.
GIDGET is a very sweet and shy Terrier mix about 12 pounds. She is very concerned about her little boy and the two of them love to pal around together.
Gidget was found along with her son at the local shelter. She is spayed and healthy.
GIZMO is a fun little guy - about 1 year old, 12 pounds. He is a little firecracker of energy - loves to play and climb and curious about all dogs and people. He is healthy and getting neutered, has all his shots. he loves to be held and is such an original looking dog you can't go anywhere without getting stopped. He's some type of chihuahua/terrier mix we think - though he looks more like a mogwai or ewok to most people.
These 4 little guys were being dumped at the shelter - so we stepped in and took them home. They have gorgeous cream colored coats with smoky gray markings and stunning blue eyes. They are non-stop action - especially Fum. These brothers are all healthy - and will soon be neutered and complete their vaccinations.
